My courses for adults offer a chance to be involved with painting, drawing, printmaking and mixed media. The response from interested artists in the Wellington area has been overwhelmingly positive and spurs me on to offer ever more ambitious and wide-ranging opportunities here in the town. Participants in my courses range from people who have done nothing for years to others who want to broaden their experience and re-start their own artwork.

COURSES FOR AUTUMN 2026 with CLAIRE WESTERN

I am delighted to say that the new AUTUMN courses for 2026 are all planned and ready for booking. As many of you will know, I have a great new town centre venue and I would like to welcome you to some more exciting collective creative sessions.
My creative space is a large, elegant room in Eliza House the period building at 35 Fore Street, Wellington,TA21 8AG. This new venue is by arrangement with Thread , whose offices and work areas occupy the ground floor. Our space is fully equipped with all that is required for painting, printmaking and mixed media work. I will, of course, continue to provide everything that you will need to make the most of the creative processes on offer.
The building is easy to access, and parking is close by and plentiful in North Street car park.
I am thrilled to be bringing my classes into the heart of Wellington and working alongside other exciting creative professionals.
